Job Description:

We seek a dedicated and qualified Gynecologist to join an existing medical practice in a region with a strong need for primary care services to join our multidisciplinary medical team and provide high-quality care in women’s reproductive health. The ideal candidate will offer preventive screenings, manage gynecological conditions, and support patients through all stages of life, including pregnancy, menopause, and beyond. This role requires clinical expertise, excellent communication, and a strong commitment to patient-centred care.

You will be working in a well-established medical practice with a loyal patient base of 1,000 to 1,200 patients. The local community shows a strong demand for a GP or gynecologist.

Job Requirements:

  • Medical degree obtained from a Romanian university (General Practitioner, Specialist, or Dentist)

  • Fluency in French (minimum B1 level recommended; courses available if needed)

  • Willingness to relocate and practice long-term in France

  • Readiness to register with the French Medical Council (Ordre des Médecins)

  • Participation in the Hochsmann procedure for diploma validation

  • Commitment to Sector 1 practice (required to receive state benefits and installation bonuses)

  • Desire to integrate into the French healthcare system and local community

  • Openness to follow a brief mentorship period with a transferring physician

  • Availability to attend online interviews and in-person recruitment events (e.g., in Cluj or Iași)

  • Motivation to develop a private medical practice in France (with or without buyout options)

  • Conduct gynecological examinations and routine screenings (e.g., Pap smears, breast exams)

  • Diagnose and treat disorders of the female reproductive system

  • Provide family planning, contraception counselling, and fertility assessments

  • Manage prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care in collaboration with obstetric teams

  • Perform gynecological procedures and minor surgeries (as applicable)

  • Educate patients on reproductive health, hygiene, and preventive care

  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records

  • Coordinate care with other medical specialists and allied health providers

  • Stay up to date with clinical guidelines and advancements in gynecology
